The fault code is read by the decoder and displayed as "P0300", and the engine is out of cylinder. Then read the misfire data in the data stream, indicating that the 3 cylinders will be short of fire when accelerating, and the record has been increasing. The other 3 cylinders are normal. The spark vvdi bmw plug was removed and there was no obvious abnormality. First, according to the experience of the previous test, replace the new ignition coil, the test failure still exists.

The vehicle exhaust gas is detected. The purpose of the test is to judge whether the cylinder is missing due to no ignition or because there is no cylinder caused by fuel injection. The idle car works normally, and there is no other fault code. There is only one P0300. The analysis thinks that the mechanical system is not a big problem. The fault may be in the ignition system, but the owner said that the new spark plug has just been replaced in other repair shops.

Fault summary: This car failure is caused by the spark plug leakage, because it is a new spark plug, so it is confirmed that the spark plug quality problem. Through the exhaust gas analysis, we saw that the abnormal increase of the main component HC. In experience, O2 should rise, but not seen in this car, it should be the catalytic and reduction of the three-way catalytic converter to consume the oxygen that is not cardiag burned inside the cylinder, let the oxygen participate in the combustion, and finally did not look at O2. The data appears. This reminds us that in the diagnosis of faults, it is most effective to combine experience and data for analysis and judgment. The most important thing is that through the above tests, we found the cause of the failure, and after the repair, the data was used again to prove that the repair was effective.

Question: i updated firmware from 4.01 to 4.74 but still have some functions n/a (eg skoda auto detect or obd)
with firmware 4.01 these functions was active. what i did wrong?

Question: anyone can confirm which is pin 55? Is it left side from top to bottom number 7 is pin 55?

Answer: Exactly you are correct. It is from top to bottom number 7. Now lift it.

If you are using J-link software, let pin55 up until the end of programming, then solder pin55 to ground like in the picture attached.

I did this way and worked perfectly.


Question: I want to replace these tantalum capacitors in A1 adapter, but the replacement must be exact like the originals?
The originals have 106C 49E73 written. Must I find capacitors with the same numbers?


the top numbers are the value, the letter is the tolerance while the second row are just batch numbers so if you are replacing then yes the value numbers in your case must be the same ie 106C, is 10uf
some have a maximum voltage stamped as well but in your case you have to work out the maximum voltage of the board and then add some extra so I would use 25v rated or 35v rated if you are going to use the unit on 24v trucks.


Question: Can someone explain in normal English what carprog is for. Would be nice without (for me) unknown short tags.
So what/which cars can I do with it?

Question: I bought clone carprog v10.05 but most of functions is not available. Is problem with software or firmware? Can I use different version like 7.27 or I need to use software provided seller?

your carprog is most likely got firmware 4 in it
and your wanting what your activation file won't have.
